Detected partitions are color coded according to their file systems. You can select them in the lower region of the user interface and view their serial numbers, IDs and other details on the same window. You can also find a few options, in the same area, for moving or resizing the selected partition, formatting, deleting or splitting the partition.

This can be done just by clicking and dragging a slider. When splitting a partition, you can set the program to move one or more folders to the new drive. It should also be mentioned that one of Paragon Partition Manager's best features is the possibility of redistributing free disk space between Windows and Mac partitions.

Besides managing partitions, the software can help you prepare a new or existing partition for a new operating system. A wizard will guide you through the procedure, during which you have to target an existing partition or unassigned space, select a drive letter, a file system and so on.
